Turisme de Barcelona will turn these elements into driving forces across all its promotional activities

 

Sustainability, geographical decentralisation and culture will be Turisme de Barcelona’s main promotional focuses during 2017. The consortium will make these elements this year into driving forces across all its promotional activities in which they will play a central role.

This way the consortium contributes to the International Year of Sustainable Tourism while also working on strengthening segmentation, with a particular focus on gastronomy and enotourism as well as on the most historical shops and LGBTI tourism, among others.

It will also focus part of its efforts on updating the current formats for promotional activities, through ongoing evaluation of all of its activities and will focus on boosting the Visit Barcelona brand through digital channels and other physical ones, such as the information offices.
