Barcelona is once again the leader in MICE tourism, ranking first in the number of congress participants and fourth in the number of international congresses held, according to the ICCA ranking. This news comes at a time of great optimism for the city and coincides with the celebration of IMEX Frankfurt 2023, one of the most important events in the MICE sector.

The Barcelona Convention Bureau has travelled to Frankfurt to take part in IMEX with its own stand, designed and built according to 100% sustainable criteria.

The BCB of Turisme de Barcelona is taking sustainability to IMEX and, for the first time, is calculating and offsetting the carbon footprint of the stand's production.
